Fire Damage – Alpharetta Kitchen
Fire damage at this Alpharetta kitchen began as a grease fire on the stove top. Grease fires burn very hot and cause a lot of soot and smoke damage when they occur. In this case, the soot and smoke damage spread throughout the house causing the homeowners to fear that they would have to tear out all the ceilings and walls at great expense in dollars and time. SERVPRO of North Fulton County was asked to assess the damages and make a recommendation for remediation. The homeowners would be informed that much of the soot and smoke damage could be cle3aned up rather than replaced. Where the fire had been originated caused the tear out and reconstruction of some elements of the kitchen, but the soot and smoke could be dry sponged then primed and painted to return the home to preloss condition.
