Reconstruction in Sandy Springs Home

Mold damage was discovered at this Sandy Springs home around the baseboard molding. It is standard procedure with SERVPRO of North Fulton County to use high-tech moisture detection devices to establish where moisture and mold may lurk undetected. In this case, we discovered more mold than met the eye. We were able to use the data provided to draft a very specific plan for mold remediation and present it to the homeowner and their insurance adjuster. As the photo shows, we removed a portion of the wall to allow us to dry and treat the interior of the wall. Once dried and treated with an antimicrobial substance we handled the reconstruction by replacing the drywall and finishing the surfaces.
