Mold Damage – Sandy Springs House

Mold damage occurred at this Sandy Springs House when the sink leaked water from the drain trap. The water damage was gradual but eventually provided enough moisture combined with the darkness to allow for a mold infestation to move in on the cabinetry. When faced with this type of mold damage our trained technicians would first locate the source of the water and facilitate repairs. They would remove tile where necessary to clean up the mold. The technicians would need to scrub all of the affected areas with SERVPRO products. After cleaning up the mold, the technicians would treat the entire area with an antifungal substance to inhibit future mold growth. Finally, the tile would be replaced.
